Our Philosophy

At Golf Nova Scotia and Golfing PEI (GNS), we strive to find a perfect combination-of being friendly, organized, and flexible.

As vacation planners, we know that our guests arrive with lofty hopes and great expectations. Our mission is to help our guests enjoy the tranquil and serene beauty of our many destinations without feeling that you're on someone else's rigid schedule. It's your vacation, after all. But we also hope that you'll keep your eyes open for the many little gems that we'll throw your way.

We hope that every one of our guests returns home believing that he or she has just enjoyed the vacation of a lifetime! We offer worry-free adventures — full of spectacular sights, warm smiles, and world-class service. We're proud of the fact that our return rate at our sister company, Pedal and Sea Adventures, is greater than 65%, and we plan on doing even better with Golf Nova Scotia and PEI.

Accommodations at country inns, B&Bs, and hotels

Guaranteed tee off times

Electric carts (with some exceptions)

List of suggested things to do

Not Included:

air transportation

personal expenses such as laundry; phone calls; entertainment; food and beverages.

Costs incurred for emergency services.

Any losses or damages suffered by any person, in traveling to or from the trip, or before, during, or after the trip, for any reason whatsoever.

Trip Information

Upon receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation package, including your receipt, weather report, what to bring, reading suggestions, and any other information we deem necessary to help make this trip as fulfilling as possible. About 30 days prior to departure, upon receipt of your final payment, you will receive map and route descriptions, confirmed tee-off times as well as an overnight itinerary of hotels and inns, complete with their address, phone and fax numbers-so the folks back home can keep in touch!

Registration & Payment

You may register for the trip by filling in the online reservation form, and sending a deposit of $500 US per person to our attention. Alternatively, you can fax a registration form to us, or call 1-877-777-5699. We accept visa card, cheque or money order. We ask that you make all payments by cheque or money order out to Pedal And Sea Adventures. The balance will be due thirty days prior to departure. Cancellation within 30 days of the starting date requires full payment of the tour cost, so we recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance, a service that we are happy to provide.

Reservations — Before & After the Trip

Let us know if we can help in suggesting and securing lodgings before and after your tour. Credit card details will be required to guarantee your reservation(s).

Accommodations

We have gone that extra mile to ensure that the accommodations we have selected for your golfing vacation meet high standards for excellence. Whenever possible we select rooms with either queen or twin beds and ensuite bathrooms. A single traveler requesting a single room will be charged the full single supplement of 20%. It may be necessary from time to time to secure lodgings at another hotel or inn, but our usual high standards apply.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, cancellations without penalties will be based on the rules of each individual course. If a particular course deems itself suitable for play and a client chooses not to play, there will be no refunds available. We will refund rain checks or unused vouchers due to a course closure or try to get you on the course again during your stay.

Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations must be received in writing. Our refund policy is based on the date the cancellation is received in our office. Should you find it necessary to cancel your reservation at least sixty days prior to departure you will receive 50% of your deposit. Cancellations received between 60 and 30 days from the tour date will forfeit deposit. Cancellations within 30 days require full payment of the tour cost.

Golf Nova Scotia & PEI is not responsible for additional expenses such as nonrefundable "Advance Purchase" airline tickets. Trip cancellation insurance is available through our company, and we strongly recommend that our clients take this simple precaution.

Changes to booking dates within a 60-day period will constitute a cancellation of the booking and a new booking will be required. Cancellation charges will apply as laid out above. In bona fide, GNS will attempt to mitigate all losses from cancellations and will at its sole discretion retain the right to reduce cancellations charges as it sees fit. Clients are advised to take out adequate insurance, which can be supplied by GNS or other insurance companies.

Insurance

It is strongly recommended that all clients purchase adequate travel insurance - which can be supplied by Golf Nova Scotia & Golfing PEI - or provide evidence of purchase of insurance from another supplier to our company prior to paying the final balance. If you chose not to purchase insurance, we will ask you to sign a waiver declaring that you have not purchased insurance, and full understand the risks and liabilities of such a decision.

Liability Release

Our clients agree to sign a liability release as a condition for participation in our golf vacation packages. This waiver will accompany your packet, so we ask that you sign and date it before returning it to our offices. You acknowledge that your trip with Golf Nova Scotia will be subject to the terms and conditions described in our standard agreement form. Golf Nova Scotia & PEI will not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of personal effects or for any injury or loss before, during, or after the tour.

Responsibility

We at Golf Nova Scotia & PEI guarantee that we'll do our best to give you a memorable, rewarding experience. We'll be responsible to the tour participants only for supplying land services offered as set forth in the tour description, except to the extent such services cannot be supplied due to causes beyond the organizer's control, such as inclement weather. In such cases the tour organizers will make great effort to supply comparable services and accommodations.

Golf Nova Scotia & PEI Adventures reserves the right to alter the itinerary in the event such changes are advisable or necessary for any reason whatsoever, or to cancel any tour. In the case where we deem it necessary to cancel your tour we will refund all money paid to us on your behalf from our Canadian office.

GNS has taken all precautions to insure the accuracy of all information described on its web site relating to the packages advertised. Also, that all accommodations and golf courses meet the required standard and that they are accurately reflected in the descriptions and promotional material. Whilst the company will do all that is reasonably possible to ensure that all parties comply with descriptions, it cannot be responsible for last minute changes or variations outside of its control, or acts or omissions from our suppliers and partners. Nothing in GNS web site shall be treated as a Term and Condition of the contract.
